Practice Makes Perfect Empty Practice Makes Perfect

Luke was laying on a couch, in a secluded building in one of the WORST neighborhoods in the city. He had been staying here ever since the one and only Shrike had taken him here when he figured out her secret identity. He was nose-deep in a book, pondering while he read. he actually hadn't seen his benefactor in a while, he wondered if she had another house somewhere? He had cleaned up during his stay here so the place looked a bit tidier and less dustier, for the sake of his sanity.

Dark was walking around the city, looking for something to do, Lucifer at his heels. He was bored, and, considering he still hasn't found a house, there was nothing to do at home.

Dark noticed he's started walking through a bad neighborhood five minutes ago. Maybe I could gain more power from some criminals, he thought and kept walking.

Kellie had been out working at the crack of dawn as usual. It was her job to protect this city so thats exactly what she was doing. She was listening to some of The Beatles as she worked. Making sure to be clean and efficient, making sure the criminals were taken to the proper authorities. She eventually landed back in her neighborhood and began to walk home.

Luke's eyes flickered up momentarily as he noticed a large mental presence making it's way here, well what do you know. He shifted on the couch and sat up as he put the book down. He made sure that everything was in order before going to the entrance and looking out. Only to see a certain anti-hero from a little while ago. He paled slightly as he closed the door and quickly shut the blinds, he didn't think the murderer saw him. He went back to sitting on the couch and waited for Shrike to return, hoping she didn't run into Dark.

Dark walked down the street whistling, thinking of what a terrible neighboorhood he was in and wondered why he hadn't found any criminals yet. He considered going somewhere else as he walked, slowly nearing a corner.

He turned, and saw someone walking down the street, looking suspicious. Dark smirked.
